Digital marketers are in charge of raising brand awareness and generating leads through the company’s digital channels – both free and paid. These channels include social media, company’s own website, search engine ranking, email, e-commerce, blog, etc.
Digital marketers usually focus on a different key performance indicator (KPI) for each channel so that they can accurately measure the performance of the company in each of them.
